Upon arrival, you will be received and transferred to the hotel chosen by our operator.
Breakfast. Departure in the morning for one of the most famous activities in Istanbul, a boat trip on the Bosporus, a channel that separates Europe from Asia. During this journey you will appreciate the palaces of the Sultans, old and typical wooden houses and enjoy history in a different way. Later we will visit the Rustem Pasha mosque, famous for its large number of tiles of different geographical shapes and decorated with floral motifs. (Lunch not included) We will end our day with one of the visits, the spice bazaar, established by the Ottomans 5 centuries ago and used since then. We will enjoy free time. Hotel accommodation in Istanbul.
Breakfast. Departure for Ankara. Arrival in Ankara, capital of the Republic and visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk, founder of the Turkish Republic. LUNCH. Continue to Cappadocia. En route we will see the second largest lake in Turkey, The Salt Lake. Arrival in Cappadocia. Dinner and accommodation.
Optionally at sunrise you can take advantage of a BALLOON trip through Cappadocia. Breakfast at the hotel. Visit this fascinating region and its original landscape, formed by the lava thrown by the Erciyes and Hasan volcanoes 3 million years ago. We will visit the Göreme Valley, an incredible Byzantine monastic complex made up of rock-cut churches with beautiful frescoes. Lunch at a local restaurant. Next, we will visit the Avcilar Valley and the Pasabagi and Góvercinlik Valleys where we can admire the best view of the volcanic forms called “fairy chimneys”. We will visit the typical workshops of Onix and Turquoise rugs and stones. Dinner at the hotel. Hotel accommodation in Cappadocia. Optionally, you can participate in the oriental Turkish night with a show in the special atmosphere of a Restaurant-Cave show of folk dances with unlimited drinks.
Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure to Konya capital of the Seljuk Sultans where we will visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana, poet and philosopher who founded the mystical and religious sect of the Dancing Dervishes, Lunch at a local restaurant en route. Continue the trip to Pamukkale. Arrival and visit to Hierapolis, an ancient Hellenistic city that today is in ruins. Visit the famous Cotton Castle, a natural wonder of gigantic white waterfalls, stalactites and Natural Pools formed over the centuries by the passage of waters loaded with calcareous salts from hot springs. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to Ephesus, a Greco-Roman city, the ancient capital of Asia Minor and one of the best preserved from antiquity, where the Temple of Hadrian, the Temple of Trajan, the theater and the Library of Celsus are located. Lunch at a local restaurant and visit the House of the Virgin Mary, where she spent the last years of her life. Continue to Kusadasi, arrival and dinner at the hotel and accommodation.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by bus to Bursa. Arrival in Bursa and visit of the center, where the famous Silk Market is located, a great attraction of the city. Transfer by bus to Istanbul. Hotel accommodation in Istanbul.
